Directions

Apply recommended amount around plants and water to begin
dissolving granulars.

Hints: Granulars are designed to dissolve quickly in water. To speed up dissolving on top of soil:

  1. Water a little to begin “softening”
  2. Wait a few minutes and water again to break apart
  3. Wait again and finish watering to dissolve completely

This process is the preferred method to dissolve the granulars on top of soil. The granulars dissolved will look like mud, but the microbes and nutrients will be working themselves into the soil to begin work. The next few waters will completely dissolve the mud into the soil.

For quicker results, mix three to five capfuls (or more) of granulars in one gallon of water. Wait 60 seconds and agitate to mix. Apply directly to soil or use as a foliar feed. One gallon will cover 5 plants. Once applied, add more water to plants if needed.

WATER MUST BE USED. GRANULARS WILL NOT BREAK APART WITHOUT MOISTURE.

Low moisture irrigation or drip irrigation will need additional watering to begin breakdown process. Once Cranford’s Granular Compost is dissolved, return to regular watering process.
